The Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus are a fraternal order of Catholic men that has been around for over 100 years. The fraternal order was started by Fr Michael McGivney as a mutual benefit society for working-class and immigrant Catholics. The members of the society would benefit from their membership and the Catholic Church would also benefit. The Knights have grown since their initial days to be a worldwide presence of mutual benefit support. The Knights are dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism; and so, the Knights do a lot globally and locally, around these principles, to support their members and the community, both civic and church.

Here in Washington, our council does a lot to support the members of the council, and their families. We also support the local parish community through different events, such as our pancake breakfast. We also do a lot to support the local community and to be present in the community.

If you are interested in joining the Knights, please speak with our Grand Knight.
